4-H Volunteer Information

How can adults be involved in 4-H?

  • Adults can volunteer as 4-H Leaders. Click here for information about the variety of roles adults fill in 4-H, and how you can get started as a 4-H leader.
  • Call 715-365-2750 or email Anne Williams, 4-H Support Staff, at anne.williams@ces.uwex.edu to learn how you can be trained as a 4-H volunteer. Becoming a certified 4-H volunteer involves taking one class (which lasts about an hour and a half) where you will get to learn more about 4-H and what 4-H has to offer and meet one-on-one with the county 4-H development educator.
  • If you are already a leader and are looking for more information and tools on starting your own club, click here.
